A 12-year-old Ridley Township girl has died and her best friend remains in critical condition after a devastating scooter crash in Aston, their families confirmed on Monday, June 16.
Abigail Gillon, 12, and Isabella “Bella” Jones, 11, were riding a shared electric scooter around 2:18 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 near Lehr Boulevard and Concord Road when they were struck by a car, according to Aston Township Police.
