Police ID MTA Bus Driver Gunned Down On Her Way To Work In Maryland Baltimore City Police have identified the MTA bus driver who was killed earlier this week near Carroll Park in Southwest Baltimore. Elaine Jackson, 40, was found with multiple gunshot wounds shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18 in the 1500 block of Washington Boulevard as she was reportedly making her way to work. Upon arrival at the scene, police say that officers located Jackson, who was transported to the University of Maryland’s Shock Trauma, where she died of her injuries later on Tuesday. ID Released For Riverside Man Struck, Killed By Train In Cos Cob A man who was killed after being struck by a train in Fairfield County has been identified. Scott James Harrington, age 59, of Riverside, a hamlet of Greenwich, was struck near the Cos Cob station by a New York-bound train around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, confirmed MTA officials. Harrington was reportedly an employee at J.P. Morgan.  The train engineer was briefly hospitalized following the incident, officials said. The incident is under investigation by the MTA.

The incident took place in Port Jefferson around 1:45 a.m., Tuesday, May 10.
