14-Year-Old Apprehended After Attempted Armed Robbery, Pursuit: Maplewood PD
A 14-year-old boy was apprehended after an attempted robbery at knifepoint in Maplewood on Thursday, Sept. 26, authorities said.
At 8:06 p.m., officers responded to Park Avenue where a woman said she was approached by three unknown Black boys wearing all black clothing, Maplewood police said in a release.
One of the juveniles brandished a knife toward her and said, "Let me get in the car," police said.

Men, Woman Charged With Knifepoint Viers Mill Road Carjacking In Montgomery County, Police Say
Two weeks after a man was carjacked at knifepoint near a Montgomery County gas station, the three people who planned it out have been apprehended for their roles in the conspiracy, police say.
Detectives announced on Monday that three suspects have been arrested and charged in connection to a Viers Mill Road carjacking earlier this month in Silver Spring.
Those charged:
Lascelles Alonzo Greenwood, 27, of Silver Spring;
Alei Imani Cook, 27, who has no fixed address;
Dewayne Davis, 35, who has no known address.
