Motorist Killed After Flipping, Striking Sign In I-295 Crash
An unidentified driver was killed in a single-car crash after veering off Interstate 295 in Mercer County, authorities said. The crash occurred about 11:52 p.m. on I-295 North in the area of milepost 63.1 in Hamilton Township, according to New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan. The Mercedes-Benz ran off the highway to the right, overturned and struck a support for a sign, Marchan said. The driver, whose name was withheld pending notification of next of kin, was fatally injured, he said. The crash remains under investigation.

Serious Crashes Reported On I-295
A pair of serious crashes was reported on Interstate 295, authorities said. The first crash occurred at about 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25 on the southbound ramp to Exit 34 (Route 70) in Cherry Hill, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. There was a partial ramp closure, nj511.org reported. The second crash occurred at about 2:50 p.m. southbound North of Exit 20 (Route 643) in West Deptford, the DOT said. The left lane of three was closed.

Car Flips Closing I-295 Camden County
A car overturned closing all lanes of Interstate 295 in Camden County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 2 p.m. on Monday, April 17 on I-295 northbound South of Exit 30 - Warwick Road in Lawnside, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. An unconfirmed report said a motorist was trapped in the wreckage. All lanes were closed for an investigation as of 2:30 p.m., nj511.org reported.

Crash With Injuries Reported On I-295
There was a crash with injuries on Interstate 295, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4 on I-295 southbound South of Exit 22 near Route 642/Hessian Avenue in West Deptford Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Two right lanes of four lanes were closed, nj511.org reported. New Jersey State Police said that the injuries were not serious.

The man killed in a crash on Interstate 295 after his car became disabled was a new father, according to co-workers. Giovanni Adames, 30, of Rahway, was northbound in Greenwich Township in Gloucester County near milepost 16.6 when he crashed with an unknown vehicle, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Police have identified the victim killed in a crash on Interstate 295 early Sunday, March 19 as a 47-year-old Lawrenceville man. Rajbir Singh was heading north in a Hyundai Tucson when his vehicle ran off the road to the right, went up an embankment, went airborne and overturned around 7:25 a.m. near milepost 63.2 in Hamilton, New Jersey State Police said.
