Photos: Racist Graffiti Found On Path Off Parkway In Westchester
Police in Westchester are investigating an incident of hate speech that was found on a popular path that sits near a busy roadway. Reports of racist graffiti on a path off Parkway Road near Midland Avenue in Bronxville was reported to police over the weekend. The graffiti spray-painted on the path includes a swastika, and two statements that read: "Make America Great A" and "White Power #." A fourth message was shared by readers that isn't fit to print. Part-Time Cop Leaves Force After Facebook Post About Bombing Kiryas Joel
A part-time police officer for the Town of Tuxedo Police Department is no longer with the department after allegedly making a racist comment on Facebook regarding bombing Kiryas Joel. According to a post from Kiryas Joel school Superintendent Joel Petlinl, the former officer posted a statement, saying "drop a daisy cutter right in KJ," to his personal Facebook account. Multiple swastikas were found in a Westchester high school the week before Thanksgiving Break, police said. Two swastikas were found at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21 at the New Rochelle High School in the boy’s bathroom near the lower cafeteria, New Rochelle Police Capt. Cosmo Costa said.
