A fire tore through a home on Main Street in Franklin Borough early Wednesday, Aug. 13, leaving the structure unsalvageable, authorities said. The blaze broke out around 4 a.m. at 139 Main Street, Franklin Borough police said. Firefighters from Franklin and multiple surrounding towns responded, but the home could not be saved. A teenage boy is accused of using fireworks to start a blaze that damaged two homes in Pottstown, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday, Aug. 11. The fire broke out on Walnut Street around 7:10 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, according to the release. First-arriving crews found two homes heavily damaged on the rear side, leading to a large multi-agency response. A fire occurred at the Harrison Wastewater Treatment Plant Monday evening, Aug. 4, authorities said.
