2.4 Magnitude Earthquake Reported In New Jersey
A small earthquake was recorded in New Jersey on Friday afternoon, Jan. 30, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The USGS reported a magnitude 2.4 earthquake that struck approximately 6 kilometers north-northeast of Whitehouse Station at 3:42 p.m. The quake occurred at a depth of about 8.9 kilometers, according to the agency. Residents in Glen Gardner, Califon, Bedminster, and Lebanon reported feeling it.
